What is the range of the SP1?

In pedal-assist mode the 24 V 5 Ah power bank gives you 25–30 km of range. The actual range depends on weight, terrain and the assistance level selected.

Is the SP1 approved for road use?

Yes. With 250 W rated power and a maximum of 25 km/h, the SP1 is EU-approved as an e-bike and may be ridden on public roads. Please observe the local regulations.

How long does the battery take to charge?

The removable power bank is fully charged in around 3–4 hours with the supplied charger (DC 25.2 V / 1.5 A, AC 100–240 V).

How heavy is the SP1 and what load can it carry?

The SP1 weighs just 14 kg, making it one of the lightest folding e-bikes in its class. That means you can carry it comfortably and take it on the metro, train or plane.

How is the SP1 folded and transported?

The folding mechanism collapses the SP1 to a compact 700 x 450 x 620 mm. It therefore fits easily into tight spaces, lifts, trains and car boots.

What warranty comes with the SP1?

The DYU SP1 is an ultra-light 20-inch folding e-bike that sets new standards at just 14 kg. The innovative aluminium alloy made using 3D forging technology makes the frame extremely stable and yet so light that it is easy to carry, stow and take on your travels.

The brushless 250 W DC motor assists you up to 25 km/h. The removable power bank with LG lithium-ion cells (24 V, 5 Ah) delivers up to 30 km of range in pedal-assist mode and, thanks to its clever design, doubles as a charger for your smartphone and tablet while you are out and about.

Equipment includes TR 160 mm disc brakes front and rear, an StVZO-approved OSRAM LED front and rear light that charges over USB, and a folding mechanism that collapses the SP1 to a compact 700 x 450 x 620 mm. That makes it fully compliant for carriage on metro, train and plane.
